Jean-François Miale
Jean-François Miaule, son of a French diplomat, was born in West Africa where he lived for 18 years.
He started painting and drawing at around the age of five.
At the age of 18, Jean-François moved to Paris where he received
a Master in Fine Arts from E.N.S.A.A. Duperré
(Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués), one of the most
renown post-graduate art schools in Europe.
During this time, Jean-Francois received several awards in Paris
for his various works.
He later became Director in a cultural center,
Espace Jemmapes in Paris, for seven years.
Espace Jemmapes has been providing theatre, music, ballet
and numerous art exhibitions to Parisians and visitors
along the border of the Saint-Martin Canal for over 20 years.
Jean-François moved to Los Angeles in late 1993,
where he has since experienced successful one man and group shows
in San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Europe.
His work is a part of various collections owned by individuals
and organizations throughout the world.
